The Man Numeric Alternative MN strategy is a multi-strategy equity market neutral portfolio that seeks to deliver alpha largely through bottom up stock selection through a fundamentally-based, systematic approach from a combination of uncorrelated sources of potential alpha. Our process seeks to identify stocks that, in the firm’s opinion: (1) are attractively valued relative to their peers; (2) have positive business momentum; (3) have proven management teams that utilize conservative accounting practices and are investor-friendly in their use of capital; and (4) enjoy favorable investor sentiment for long positions and the opposite characteristics for short candidates across an 11,000+ stock universe globally.
