Quest is a quantitative manager based in NYC with a 19-year track record. The AQO strategy seeks to provide investors with strong absolute returns and hedging characteristics, particularly during periods of volatility expansion and fixed income and/or equity market corrections. We believe that we provide a differentiated approach to classic trend following due to what we believe to be faster reactions to trend reversals and a focus on positive skew, which we believe allows our strategy to benefit when tail risk is most likely to materialize. We also believe that our strategy is a portfolio diversifier and acts as a hedge to traditional portfolios, hedge fund portfolios and CTA portfolios, particularly during periods of crisis. Additionally, the firm recently launched a multi-asset quantitative strategy, called the AlphaQuest Insight (AQI) program. AQI combines what we believe to be alpha generating strategies in equities & futures in an attempt to deliver a balanced risk profile & high risk adjusted returns across market cycles while seeking to be uncorrelated to traditional assets over time.
